A very homely little place. I stayed here for one day in Nov 2018.

Pros: Mostly clean; friendly staff; good crowd; comfortable lounge; well-stocked kitchen with free tea and coffee; good Wi-Fi in the rooms; good location.

Cons: The shower was a little dirty and very cramped; I felt that it was a little strange that they asked for a photo ID as a deposit for the room key; not their fault but I got a terrible room-mate that came back drunk at 3:30 am, slept naked, and snored.

Very friendly hostel, clean and homely with a nice atmosphere. Was well organized and flexible. The kitchen fully equipped, with straightforward signs everywhere. A perfect base to explore the places around.

Have stayed here before, and had a wonderful friendly relaxed stay. This time, Phil at the desk didn't make us feel welcome, persistent that we had to give an ID, as it was "part of the deal", we had paid over the phone, and the deal was to pay for a bed for a night. Two members of our group didn't have ID, so this almost escalated to us not being able to stay. We didn't need ID to travel within the same country. Didn't record where ID number was from, pointless recording.
We quickly left the next day.
During our previous stay we were offered a tumble drier due to lack of drying facilities.
Ok place for single travellers, but can get better accommodation for same price else where.

I loved staying here! The atmosphere was fantastic. The people are very nice! It isn't the biggest hostel and the bathroom could use an upgrade but they make up for it thanks to the kindness, nice kitchen and rooms and well like I already said the atmosphere. This is a very warm and cosy place to be staying. I would recommend it!

Cosy place, with free tea and coffee. Bedrooms were fine (we were in a bunk dorm), living room is a nice place to relax after a long walk. You can rent towels and buy breakfast (cereal, scones and toast etc) for a very reasonable cost. Kitchen is also well equipped! Nice little hostel!
