This was my 2nd trip on the dolphin mischief in convective years. On my first trip, I had not been fortunate enough to see any dolphins, but I understand that as they are wild animals this couldn’t be helped. Despite this, the RIB tour itself is thrilling. Our tour guide, Gus, showed his extensive and in depth knowledge of the area and the dolphins, before taking us through all safety precautions. He was very calming and assuring, especially for some of the more nervous in our group! We then headed out though the Kessock Bridge, and since it was a calm day, Gus gave us the boat trip of a lifetime, speeding over the water on the Moray Firth! Awesome!

On the second trip we had the same procedure, and same guide! Only this time we saw dolphins aplenty! We even saw some jumping and feeding, truely amazing!

Would recommend this to everyone, as there is speed for the thrill seekers and lovely views of wildlife and scenery for the enthusiasts!

Hello Rugman19,

Thank you for taking the time to review our trips.

It's so fantastic to know that you enjoyed the trip the first time so much, that you wanted to come back again! How coincidental that you got Gus again, but at least you know the trip would be good. We have had some really fantastic sightings recently, so it's really amazing that you were able to experience some of these sightings.

Hopefully we'll see you again next year, and it'll be Gus you get again!

Kind Regards,
Yvette

What a great trip. We started with a briefing from the skipper John and kitted out in good quality warm waterproof clothing by Freya. The rib is far superior to anything I’ve been on before with plenty of seating space and I’m 6’3”. Within seconds of leaving the marina we saw two dolphins meters from us. We then went for our trip. Which was really comfortable even in windy conditions down to johns helm skills. En route Freya gave us information on the surrounding scenery and local historic sights. We then saw dolphins at fortrose.
I was delighted that John considered his crew comfort and safety and not the usual donuts and general showing off I’ve seen on other local trips. Shame we didn’t see the recent local star a fin whale but maybe next time. Recommended for all ages. Thank you to the team for a great experience!! Glenn

Hi GJskye,

Thank you for taking the time to leave such a lovely review.

We're delighted to hear that you had such an enjoyable experience with us, and although you didn't see the fin whale that had been spotted recently, you still saw dolphins! Your comments with regards to John and Freya will definitely be passed on, and I'm sure they'll be delighted to hear how much you appreciated their concern for both the guests on board but other staff members.

We hope that you'll come back and join us again soon!

Yvette
