Sunday night in Wick, not the best place to find fine dinning and a bit of a time warp of 40 years ago. The Alexander Bain was the only place in town which had any life and had any modern investment. In fact it was full. The only other choice was the Italian next door. Sat in the main bar on the tall tables with plenty of atmosphere. Standard Weatherspoons fare, but nothing wrong with it at the price. Service was excellent and friendly. Had the burger doubled up for £1, with a pint of larger, still only just over £7. My wife had the veggie curry option. Nothing wrong with that either.
