Spent an enjoyable weekend with my husband and grand children, the accommodation was ideal for our stay close to Aviemore amenities and centrally based for Highland wildlife park and Landmark, the cottage itself is nicely furnished the cooking facilities are adequate for a short stay as restaurants are close by, TV is a bit strange to get used to but anyone with a bit of technical DIY can easily sort it out, the sink in the bathroom is a bit small but no problem. All in all a good place to stay hopefully we will be going back at some point
Good location but our stay was spoiled by totally unsatisfactory bathroom facilities. The warped bathroom door required a great deal of strength to close. The sink is far too small and the mixer tap was loose and seemed likely to come detached every time it was used. Obtaining hot water from this tap required skill and patience. The toilet seat was also loose and it was not possible to simply tighten up. General decoration was poor.

We enjoyed our few days in Aviemore, the cottage has everything needed and is close to the shops and restaurants. Despite the fact that it is June the heating was welcome. The dog enjoyed the walk recommended by Dorothy as well.
This little house is like a tardis - nothing much to look at on the outside but cosy and warm on the inside and nicely furnished with all the basics you need in a holiday home. The games were a nice touch - my children loved the chess/draughts set and dominoes - and there are blankets and a TV set with plenty of channels for a night in front of the box.
We were very happy here for three nights - including my daughter's birthday and were able to explore the mountains, Loch Ness, Ben Nevis and up to Inverness with ease from this location.
Ideal for us with a small child. close to centre of the village and Tescos. Ate at The Winking Owl (book a table),we were lucky eating early. Tourist information is v helpful. Try out the childrens' play park behind the Macdonalds resort. It is great.
We enjoyed the Cairngorm Mountain Railway and the Highland Wild life Park
