Love this restaurant. Curry is always excellent. I recommend the garlic nashilee. Also pakora and Nan bread are a must

I have been to this restaurant a number of times and kitchen and staff go out their way to make sure you have a good time.

Highly recommend

Food was very fresh and extremely good, and recently changed their Menu .
Everybody in Glasgow has there favorite Indian restaurants, but this is the old and first classic that I went to as a kid with my father over 40 years ago when it was in Gibson Street.
It has stood the test of time , and I believe its the best in Scotland by a country mile .
Forget designer plates , wholesome food cooked really well . always looked after

Decided to visit the birth place of tikka masala, well as we arrived we were welcomed by an old member of staff,as if he never wanted us to come in,we asked for table and thn we stood there, while he start discussing in his own language with his colleagues, after tht process we been pointed out to table, long story short we foced ourselves to sit down, not even helped by staff, the whole experience of service was not good,we have to look for staff,to get our attention, while they were busy Chating, the staff is really not friendly at all,I think it can be age factor to,it's like they been forced to work,I wldnt have given three star,if my food wasn't good, starter was good, food was fresh, and we enjoyed our tikka masala,

Rude staff and poor food - if the waiters hovered around more glaring at you - the food - already poor - would curdle..
The 4 course set lunch ? how does it have four courses? are you to eat two main courses? well- best of luck if you try! this Indian sells generic sauces - factory produced gloop in tiny portions ( thankfully) even the rice to accompany was a thin coat of rice on a small dinner plate - i,d say a third of a normal serving . shrivelled salad to dress a plate always whets my appetite - you?
If you like rude abrasive waiters who are rough n gruff - fill yer boots at this place. The dated decor and smelly toilets are perfect accompaniment to the dreadful food and staffing .
