We went here as it was the closest late night spot and I'm so glad we did! I was impressed that they served food till late. The music was good and there was a huge range of beer

Second time in as many weeks to the Howlin Wolf. Food is outstanding, havent had a bad dish yet, drinks are strong & vast in choice but the best thing is the service, friendly, attentive, quick & warm. Love this place. Music is perfect accompaniment to it all.

We we're told to move tables down to the front seats next to the band even though we had specifically booked a table at the back. Minutes after ordering food a diferent waitress advised that the table was booked by another group in 20mins.

Not sure if it was just a booking error but got the feeling they just wanted us to eat fast and get out or stand at the packed bar.

About 5 mins after that some steaming folk came over asking if 3 of them could squeeze into the one seat in our booth while we ate our dinner haha.

On a positive note the food was genuinely top class. Chicken wings in the hot sauce were tremendous and the Smokestack burger was perfectly cooked. The service on the night could have been better given how busy ut was that can be forgiven.

We dined here based on trip advisor reviews and were so disappointed. The atmosphere was fun and close to our hotel but the food was terrible. Gumbo was not gumbo consistency and not very good. The fish and chips was over cooked. The Chips were soggy. Burgers ok, but again chips soggy. Definitely would not recommend for dinning. Beer ok so stop in for a brew and the music.
