My Caprese Salad consisted of one tomato, some mozzarella, a chopped rocket leaf and some dressing. NO Basil, No Bruchetta. It was a main course at £9. What the hell ? They’re having a laugh. I had to go find another member of staff to get the missing bread, (once she checked I wasn’t lying by consulting the menu!). The single tomato and lack of basil was pointed out to the waitress who said she’d “tell them”. We had to leave for an event so we paid up and left, the dish was still on the bill and there was also no apology or acknowledgement! Completely uselessness.

Really tasty full breakfast, good coffee and service. My partner had the toast, avocado, tomato and poached eggs and really enjoyed it.

Went for breakfast, wished we hadn't! Staff were sullen and moody, couldn't raise a smile from anyone.
Waited more than 30 minutes for food. Ordered an omelette with bacon and gruyere cheese, didn't have any cheese on it! Partner ordered pancakes with bacon and fried eggs. Pancakes were brick hard, burnt and stale. Tea was so weak we couldn't drink it.
No one asked if everything was okay with our breakfast which it wasn't.
Poor show KC, won't be back!

Arrived Sunday afternoon around noon not too busy inside yet the waitress pointed our table out rather than sit us. Once we were sat she sat the menus on the table, not a word spoken. We were asked 3 times in a matter of 5 mins if we were ready to order. When we did the food took over 25 mins for eggs benedict and 2 pancakes with undercooked bacon. As we were eating the staff were taking selfies, drinking coffees and posing in booths while one woman counted what looked to be petty cash or tips at the bar in the middle of the cafe. When the bill arrived we paid by card to which the girl just lifted it and used contactless, didn't even say how much it was as we were going to add the tip. Decided not to as she didnt even ask how the food was. Just unimpressed at the atmosphere and service as the interior and reputation are wonderful. Won't be back.

It is a nice option if you want to eat at the museum.
We visited the museum and wanted to get on the road so it was convenient.
My lasagna was a bit greasy, but my wife’s burguer was good, so I will give it a three stars.
