Totally flavourless food with measly portions- pad Thai was 752 calories and we ordered double the chicken and shrimp and was still tiny. It was also quite expensive- I wouldn’t have minded paying the price if the food was good but it just wasn’t. Go...to ting Thai instead! Way cheaper and way more flavourful.More

Probably the best dinner i have had in Glasgow so far! I had the cherry blossom lemonade which was fizzy and perfect for the spicy dish that I had. I chose the chicken hot pot with some kimchi on the side and the vegan corn...dogs. The spice level was perfect and the flavor was amazing. I would definitely recommend and go back again !More

Called in early on Wednesday and were greeted by a really happy server who explained to us that there were a number of new starters and drinks on the menu and they were on a trial run. After looking at the new items my wife...ordered a dish that we can't remember the name of and I went for the matchstick wings, they were both delicious. One of the chefs had brought them over and asked for honest feedback after we finished. We both had curries for mains (firecracker chicken and raisukaree ) and they were both incredible. We shared a smoked chocolate cake for dessert. Everything we had was great and the service was excellent as always. My wife also had one of the new cocktails which she really liked. This is definitely one of our favourite places to eatMore

Great if you enjoy very spicy food, beautifully presented. Lovely friendly staff. My friend loves this restaurant and wanted to take me here, when I was over in Glasgow for a flying visit. To be honest I'm not really "wowed/bowled over", by the menu, noodles just...arnt my "thing". However, I had a nice chicken dish, and prawn dish for my main and starter (respectively), plenty coriander, which I love!! Food is just too spicy for me though- i can't take too spicy coz of my stomach issues . Food is beautifully presented, I don't like the table/ bench idea atall, it me of school canteens. Anyway, it was OK, Food was OK thanks 😊More

Fast service, great flavours, healthy food! In addition the service is great with speedy and efficient service. It’s a big restaurant with plenty of space. Downside is the benches - for an older person with back issues it wasn’t ideal.

A lovely payday family outing on Wednesday night. LOCATION - situated along West George Street, about a 50m walk from Nelson Mandela Place. It was pretty much directly across the road from ‘Stack & Still’. Level access provided. DECOR - very much what you would...expect of a restaurant serving Asian / Japanese food - clean and sharp. Minimalist with dimmed internal lighting - we were sat at a long table with benched seats. Not oozing comfort but modern nonetheless. STAFF - brilliant! We had a couple of waiters overseeing us - they brought colouring books and pencils for our son. Our plates were always cleared and we were tended to with a smile. No complaints at all. MEAL - speaking of my own experience, it was superb. I opted for some steamed Gyoza (Pulled Pork) to start, followed by a Yaki Soba (Chicken and Shrimp). A big fan of both, in particular my main course which was packed with flavour. Generous portions. COST - just over £60.00 for a family of three (one child) with two courses and two Smoothies ordered on the side. For me, fairly expensive - the non-acceptance of any Blue Light (or similar) discount was a big disappointment. Taken the above into account, I definitely feel like i’ve been won over by ‘Wagamama’, this type of food not always being my preferred choice. A moreish menu full of well cooked cuisine. However, if considering financially, it’s a place we’d visit as a family a lot less frequently than other businesses.More

I had a really terrible experience with a Wagamama in Birmingham earlier in the year so I was a bit apprehensive about dining within the same chain again. I needn't have worried. I mentioned my previous chili/hair based woe to our server, Martina, and she...couldn't have been more lovely and went well out of her way to make sure we had a more positive experience this time. Both mine and my boyfriend's meals were exactly what we had ordered. Would definitely come back.More

2 yaki sobas ordered. Know there’s egg in it but these had a massive chunk of egg through it and actually tasted very poor. I only ever order yaki soba chicken and prawn but this was shocking. I’ve actually been to this Wagamama before and...it was great that time but only fair I review it when it’s really bad as well. I spoke with the waitress and explained how I did not enjoy this meal and she spoke to the manager but didn’t actually come back over to tell us what was said until I waved her down 15 mins later. She told us she didn’t remove it from the bill as we ate all of it, my partners plate was still a third full due to the poor quality of it! I ate all of mines in hope it would improve as I ate it but it did not, if I wasn’t so hungry I would have stopped at the first bite! My fault for being an optimist. I was also told by the waitress that this large egg piece was “very normal” and a popular feature of the dish. This is not true as I’ve only ever ordered yaki soba from wagas and I’ve never seen egg pieces as big as that on this dish and I assure the actual taste of the noodles were the worst I’ve had. Poor experience and also poor from the staff not to at least offer discount to a grotesque looking giant piece of egg on my plate :///. I wish I took a picture but I’m sure the wagas team would be able to see the egg in their cctv as it was rather large.More
