There are several entrances to this building. One entrance brings you into a pretty basic modern library that is used by all Glaswegians - I was wondering what the fuss was all about this Library. Until... I exited through another entrance, and this is where the true beauty of this building can be seen. Gorgeous architecture. And look up to see the Rotunda. One cannot go up it (Security will stop you) but it is a beauty to behold and photograph.

Excellent in every way - a great collection of books. Lots of students around studying and attending sessions. Pretty, old structure.

The Mitchell library is a gorgeous building, inside and out. It has a large cafe area, and computers that can be used as well as a vast supply of books. It is a great place to study or just to relax.
