This place is ideally situated near to central station. However, it is old and run down so not a nice place to stay. Not up to the usual PREMIER inn standards. The decor in the dining room is rough and dreary.

Sometimes it seems like Terry and I are on a world tour of Premier Inns. This time we were staying in Glagow to attend "Glasglow", the light spectacular in the Botanic Gardens.

Our first visit to this specific Premier Inn, but definitely not our first stay with Premier Inns. We like the fact that you absolutely know what you get >> all Premier Inns are pretty standardised. You get a great nights sleep (thanks to a comfy bed) ~ and they're always great value for money. Morover this Premier Inn is so central that it's very handy to get to places like the West End or Merchant City.

We'll be back in Glasgow for Celtic Connections, and our Premier Inn stay is already booked

On our arrival we were greeted by a receptionist who appeared not to really want to be there. Our rooms were not ready, so we left our bags in a room and went for something to eat. On our return we collected our key from a different receptionist, same attitude. Because we said we had stayed in premier inns before the the receptionist offered no explanations re - use of card in lifts, times for meals etc. The room was alright, there was a sparse amount of milk, tea and coffee and no biscuits. On our arrival back at 11.00pm we disappointed to discover the bar was closed. Breakfast was ok.
