Popped by for a bit of brunch. The food was good and the prices reasonable but we were floored by the customer service. Great place!!

This cafe has home made cakes and several are gluten free and very tasty. We enjoyed the blueberry and raspberry cake and thoroughly recommend it. The coffee is dark roast strong and excellent. Small in size but a great menu and we would return for more if we have time to do so.
Six of us were staying in a AirBnB just a few minutes away and our host recommended this cafe for breakfast - and it was spot on!
It’s a tiny Italian cafe which does takeaway cakes, coffee and sandwiches as well as eat in options. We were very hungry after a boozy evening, so decided to eat in.
The ladies all went for poached egg options (with salmon, avocado, tomatoes and/or bacon extras); while the men went for French toast (with bacon, maple syrup, bananas and/or cheese options). We all thoroughly enjoyed it. The bread was excellent (and we saw the baker deliver more while we were there, so certainly fresh) and the eggs well poached. Freshly squeezed orange juice and ground coffee were also very good.
Also left room for a cannoli on the way out. Great place for breakfast.
Looking for somewhere to have a bit of brunch after some morning work. The north star cafe popped into my head after seeing some great reviews. We travelled over and managed to get a space not far away.
Got a seat straight away with was nice (And probably lucky) it seems a busy little place.. We got some coffee with was very nice, started with porridge and fruit which in both our opinion was the best porridge I think we've ever had..
After that I had avocado on toast which was on some nice fresh cut bread and a little side salad. It did everything I asked for. And my accomplice chose poached egg on toast which he thoroughly enjoyed also.
Price was very reasonable at the end and the staff were very nice.
Think this is a first for me but on the day..

North Star is a place that I have heard great things about over the years and have wanted to try out, but as always with a lot of great places in Glasgow, its just finding myself in the area to actually visit them.
One Sunday morning I found myself in the west end of Glasgow, and decided that I would pop along to North Star for some brunch.
Not the biggest of places, and for 11am on a Sunday morning it was packed, and I had to sit around outside for a few minutes to get a table.
Decided on the full Scottish Breakfast, which took a while to come, but was freshly prepared and was worth the wait.
Not a bad cup of coffee either, and all together a full Scottish breakfast and a large cup of coffee came to £9.
Certainly a fantastic little family run cafe where I see myself visiting again in future.
