We ate here to celebrate a birthday. We were initially disappointed at the length of time we waited for someone to come take our order and then waited a further 40mins for our starter to come. Starter was nice however the flat iron steak for mains was highly disappointing. Waitress told us that a lot of people who haven’t had flat iron before have complained about their steak being too chewy. I told her that actually 4 out of the 6 of us regularly eat flat iron at good Glasgow restaurants and in comparison what they served was very poor. Felt like it was a poor cut not to mention that the sides did not arrive with the main. We then waited again for dessert which initially was quite good until one of our party found what looked like a fish bone in her creme brûlée. The waitress reported this to the chef and we were told it was a piece of plastic not bone. A disappointing experience especially since we’ve been here before and eat regularly in the sister restaurants. Will not be back and most certainly won’t be recommending it unfortunately. Poor service. Average food.
