Been for a meal tonight. The food is superb. The service is great. Very attentive and friendly. Special mention for the Gharam Bahar I’d massively recommend it.

If I lived nearer I would visit here a lot. The restaurant is very nice, with mostly booths which I enjoy, I like the intimacy of a booth. The waiters were very helpful and friendly. The food was delicious. I had a lovely biryani and David had lamb madras. Really enjoyable and even on a Monday night in the suburbs it had a steady flow of customers. Lovely atmosphere. It also has bigger tables for larger groups. Also my favourite....lovely crisp white napkins. Hope to visit again soon.

Had a truly excellent evening meal here: good food; pleasant surroundings and affable staff. Had my usual boring old plain Lamb Madras but at least ordering the same dish at various Indian restaurants generates direct comparisons. And in comparison, this was excellent, plentiful and reasonable nobly priced.

No complaints at all: can wholeheartedly recommend.

We dropped in here after checking out TA for some recommendations for a good curry in the area.

Obviously as it is advertised as fine dining we felt underdressed in jeans and trainers but still headed over to experience Mr Singh Ji’s fine dining.

Whilst we waited for our starter, we thought we would try the popadoms which were very good thought the bright red condiment served with them was a little strange in both look and taste. The dribbled red streaks on the side of the pot were a nice “fine dining” touch. The luke warm tandoori sharing starter was good but nothing special.

The mains arrived in good time although they were incorrect, which the kitchen kindly rectified for us. The Tandoori chicken dish that was incorrect but still served, was given a flash of brandy and lit by the waiter to enhance the coriander on it which was a nice “fine dining” touch. Just a shame there wasn’t any evidence of coriander in there to enhance the flavour of.

Anyway all in all it was OK food wise, just wouldn’t place it in the fine dining category.

For ref they have Kingfisher on tap
