“Great location”
Reviewed 29 December 2017 for a stay in December 2017

A comfortable house for our family Christmas stay. The house was decorated with everything Christmassy including a tree and with the heating on, it was warm and inviting. Plenty of linen and towels available if required and there was a travel cot and high chair for our grand daughter and a blow up bed for our grandson. The walk in wardrobe off the ensuite master bedroom was big enough for them both to sleep in. The bathrooms are large and there was plenty of hot water although not when a bath is running at the same time as trying to have a shower as I discovered! The kitchen is a bit small but we managed to cook Christmas lunch without incident. There is a lovely wee garden with decking and furniture at the back of the house but as it was winter we didn't use it. There are two parking spaces allocated to the house. I would suggest that the rotary dryer at the back door needs replacing and the bins should be moved so there is actually room to hang washing out, especially useful if you have young children and need to wash clothes during your stay. There are loads of toys, games and a huge selection of paperbacks of all types so you won't be bored even if the weather is bad. We really enjoyed our visit and the house is very handy for St.Andrews and all its amenities, especially as there is a large supermarket within walking distance and lovely views from the lounge and back garden.

“Perfect St Andrews bolt hole!”
Reviewed 19 December 2017 for a stay in September 2017

Everything our dogs and us need for the perfect stay. Gillian could not be a more helpful owner. Very peaceful with spectacular views over St Andrews, it’s a good location for the dogs daily walk and with St Andrews and it’s restaurants a few minutes away ( not to mention a giant M & S foodhall and a Morrison’s a few hundred yards away ) everything is taken care of. If, like us, you love St Andrews, it’s golf and it’s beaches, and the other pearls along the Fife coast, this property is the perfect base to explore it all.

“the cottage at pipeland farm road”
Reviewed 4 August 2017 for a stay in July 2017

my family and i spent 5 fabulous nights at this lovely cottage with great surrounds and views .We were informed that the cottage had everything we would need and it certainly had. It sleeps 6 very comfortably plus another 2 if required. t
This is a great place and one for a family to really enjoy and still have your own privacy. Too many dvd,s games both indoor and outdoors plus a full tv programme including sky sports and movies plus wi-fi. Superstore on your doorstep and places to take kids must include Craigtoun Country Park. We will revisit this cottage again as we had a fantastic time .

“Lovely, peaceful cottage with stunning views of St. Andrews and the North Sea.”
Reviewed 4 July 2017 for a stay in June 2017

Stayed for a week here while oldest daughter graduated from University. Lovely cottage with beautiful view of St. Andrews and the North Sea. Only 2.4km to restaurants, pubs and shops on Market Street, but so peaceful and quiet at the cottage. Three bedrooms, three bathrooms, kitchen, living room and formal dining room. Only a 5 GBP taxi ride if you've had a dram too many at Keys. Thoroughly enjoyed getting take away from Tail End and Jahangir and sitting in the back yard with a pint or glass of wine and enjoying the views. Would not stay anywhere else in St. Andrews. Thanks Gillian.
