I visit this place regularly, the local countryside trust have done a great job of restoring this area.
There is a smaller walk of around 15-30mins around the Birnie Loch depending on fitness, however, at a modest 35-50mins, you can walk around the Gaddon Loch as well.
There are all kinds of wildlife, and all sorts of trees and bushes here. Ducks, Swans, Geese, Coots, and many more, even the Rams at the far end of the Gaddon Loch.
There is decent parking available, with picnic tables, and bins for disposing of your rubbish. Also, for the birdwatchers theer are a few hides, that you can pay £5 and get your own key to visit when you want.
