We loved our stay at the hub! We had stayed at a hub in London so it was an easy decision to book a room in Edinburgh. I had a hard time decided between the two different hub locations but was very pleased with the decision to stay at this one. We were so close to everything we wanted to. It really is a 1 minute walk up to the Royal Mile. The check in was easy, even with the self check-in having difficulties. Our room was ready when we checked in at 2:01pm. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The rooms are small, very small. But we feel you really don't need much more room, if you are just sleeping in your room. We had two larger bags for the two of us and we had no problems moving around the room as the bed has awesome storage underneath. Great wifi, a great little café, nice seating area to enjoy a cup of tea in the morning. We never ended up eating there but it appeared to have a great selection of food. We enjoyed our stay and will certainly be booking at a hub in the future!

This was the second time we’ve stayed here this year and it was perfect for our couple of days visit, great value, spotlessly clean, perfectly located, five minute walk from the train station and onto the Royal Mile. The rooms are compact but there is everything you need, hairdryer, air con, smart TV, easy modern controls for lights, temperature etc. Tea and coffee available Free of charge 24/7 and we took advantage of the £5 breakfast deal. Check in/out was easy and efficient. The thing that really stood out was how pleasant and helpful the staff were, nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely stay here again, couldn’t fault it, well done guys!

This was our first stay in a Hub hotel and we weren't disappointed. We did upgrade to one of their bigger rooms as our trip was for 5 nights and I'm glad we did. From what I could see, the beds in a standard room are boxed in on 3 sides, requiring one person to clamber over the other if you want to get up in the night! Perfect for solo travellers or just an overnight stay for 2, otherwise I would recommend paying the little extra. The room was ultra modern, clean and nicely designed to make the most of the space. Air conditioning was welcome as the window was non-opening and it became warm quickly even in May. Check-in was efficient and staff friendly and ready with a smile.
Free tea and coffee 24/7 was available from the cafe downstairs, with takeaway cups provided. We purchased a couple of snacks and bottle of water which were overpriced, but with so many places on your doorstep it's easy to get these elsewhere.
The location was fantastic - an easy 5 minute walk from Waverley station and 1 minute onto the lower end of the Royal Mile. Everything we wanted to do - Arthur's Seat, Edinburgh Castle, the museums, theatre, etc. was in easy walking distance. Overall, a great base, great room, great value.

Room Tip: Worth upgrading to a bigger room for longer stays or if you are tall.

I'm a regular HUB visitor and this being the first time at this branch, 1 word: amazing! 5 minute stroll from Waverly station, 2 minutes (at most) walk to the bottom of Royal Mile (Canongate). Already booked for next year!
