A full house enjoyed a great evening of christmas panto full. For an amateur company the quality of performance is outstanding. Superb singing from the fairy of the ring, great humour from a larger than life widow twanky and the wee sidekick to Sofar stole parts of the show she was so good. Slapstick audience participation and a hollywood like leading couple. Venue gives a clear view of stage from all seats, acoustics also carried the performers voices and music from a quality band, bar downstairs what more could you want. Great show great venue.

Went to see Oklahoma at this theatre. An amateur production but well presented and the characters of Ali Hakim and Ado Annie were particularly well acted. It was put on by the Edinbirgh G&S society so, as you'd expect, the choral singing was particularly strong.

The theatre itself was quite ornate with good facilities. Good spacious seating, with tiering throughout, meant that visibility and comfort were very good.Very efficiently run - and very modern given my ticket was texted to me for me to show on arrival.

A nice evening!

Came here to see Flight, which was shown at the back of the theatre. In the main building, the bar area had really comfy sofas. Perfect for chilling before our performance started. Flight was awesome too.

Our first visit to this impressive building in the Morningside area of the City. Built as a Baptist chapel in the late Victorian period and now a busy theatre venue which includes several official Festival events. The event we attended took place inside a darkened room so we cannot speak for the interior, but there is a very good cafe.
