Great coffees, great service and a superior breakfast. We enjoyed it so much that we came back for dinner and were not disappointed. Order lots of little nibbles, got great pairing suggestions from waitstaff and manager. The place was very busy, seemed like quite a few regulars, but we were never hurried to place our orders; I appreciate that. Relaxing both indoors and outdoors.

We were walking down Leith Walk and bumped into friends here so decided to join. After initially thinking we would have one drink, we ordered more than enough tapas for four and two bottles of wine. The sun was shining and we were sitting outside feeling very happy. The service (by Cynthia) was amazing. She found English difficult but did so well to deal with our banter and ensure we were happy and had everything we needed. We ordered extra tapas that then got delivered by what seemed to be the manager on shift (a guy who seemed to be in charge and directing). He served us our food and we asked for extra bread. He responded with “yeah but you need to order it.” Working in hospitality ourselves, we looked at each other, unsure of whether he meant to order it with another sever or whether he was ordering it. Turns out we did have to order with someone else...as it just didn’t turn up...which I find utterly rude - telling someone you are serving to order something with someone else. The service was excellent but the manager’s attitude was stinking, was rude and lacked the basic skills desired to work in a restaurant. His staff are doing a brilliant job on the floor and he is letting them down with his attitude and complete lack of care and respect.

the perfect place to stop off for an amazing coffee and churros. The staff are also very friendly and service is spot on.

Last night my boyfriend and I visited Serrano and Manchego for a third time. We are both big fans of Spanish food and really enjoy the food and ambience here. The ham and cheese croquettes are delicious, as are the patatas bravas (although we noticed a dramatic reduction in the portion size on this latest visit). We really enjoy the food here and would certainly return however we feel that some of the dishes are a bit overpriced for the portion size and the bill can soon stack up to something very expensive. Overall a nice dining experience, perfect for when you fancy some good wine and tapas.

We went here for a meal after a movie one evening. It was busy but they gave us two places right in the middle of the crowd. The menu offers the usual array of tapas-style dishes in medio-racion size portions, and we enjoyed our selection. We drank fino to start with (good, and chilled) then a bottle of albarino, also good.
It seemed understaffed as we had to wait quite a while between each step. Also I know this is Leith not Malaga but I really do object to paying so much for very simple dishes. Yes I'll go back but with my eyes more open next time.
