“A very convenient place to stay”

We spent five days here (4 of us) in this 2 bedroomed apartment not far from the city centre. We were able to park our cars safely which had been a must be for us all. The accommodation is just right for 4/5 people on a visit. The kitchen is well equipped with fridge, freezer microwave etc and washing machine (not used by us). Bethlehem Way is perfectly situated for catching a bus into the centre of the city and also the return stop is just opposite the entrance lane. Taxis in Edinburgh are plentiful and much cheaper than down here in the Midlands. Thoroughly recommended.

“Comfortable, secure apartment which is excellent value for money”

This is a modern, purpose built 2 bedroom apartment in a development which is a 20 minute walk from the top of the Royal Mile/ Holyrood House/ Parliament. There are regular buses into the city centre or to other places of interest eg Leith, Portobello and with a day pass costing only £3.50 per person this is a great way to get around without the hassle of driving or parking. We chose this apartment because we wanted safe parking for our car and this fitted the bill nicely. The apartment is on the first floor and is easy to access. The lounge window offers views across to the top of Arthur's Seat whilst the bedrooms are quietly situated at the back of the flat. We were pleasantly surprised by the range of extras provided here which would make it even better value for anyone flying in with hand luggage only. The flat is clean and comfortable and a great place for 2 or 3 people. It is not quite as good for 4 people as there is only comfy seating for 3 ( one settee) but this might not matter to some guests. If this is free for your dates, look no further, you will not get a better deal .

“Excellent.. Home away from home..”
Reviewed 9 August 2014 for a stay in July 2014

The apartment was kept very clean. We stayed there for 3 nights. It was just like home away from home. The kitchen had everything needed for a quick meal to be prepared. The bathroom was also very clean. We had a good night sleep after a busy day out. Owner is also.Bit far from the busy Edinburgh city center, but No 34 bus runs very frequently which took 15 mins to reach the city center. And the bus stop is just outside the apartment on the main road. Will definitely recommend to friends and family. If got a chance we will stay there again.

“Fantastic, modern and home from home”
Reviewed 22 June 2014 for a stay in June 2014

We stayed here for a long weekend when we had friends and family staying over at my own home. Usually we would get a hotel but this time we opted for an apartment and I am glad we did.

The place is very modern, bright and most importantly for me, clean.

Having the use of a kitchen was great as we did not have to worry about dining out all the time. The bed was very comfortable and I slept well....in fact I even slept in one morning. Nice powerful shower in a modern clean bathroom.

Free fast WiFi which is a must. Flat TV in living area with many channels to watch.

I had my car with me so parked in the onsite car parking but when we were drinking and meeting friends / family we used the bus service which takes you directly into town. The bus stop is 30 seconds away and they run very regular so never had long to wait.

I look forward to staying again. I can't fault the place. If I could find something to moan about it would be to have bigger (pint) sized drinking glasses available but that is me clutching at straws.

Look forward to stating again. Thank you. Aaron.

“a great find”
Reviewed 7 June 2014 for a stay in June 2014

This flat had it all. Good location, good parking, bus at the front street, good wifi (included in price), quite spacious, good heating and very clean. It was very easy to get into Edinburgh on the bus using an all day ticket and there are a few supermarkets on the bus route or within walking distance. There were problems with tv reception - maybe a loose connection. There were enough plates etc and good towels, although the sheets were not the best quality I still slept very well each night on what I thought was a strange mattress but I slept really well which surprised me as I have had difficulty sleeping this trip. And must note there are big lights directly outside the bedroom windows but obviously they didn't bother me. The flat is up one flight of stairs and it has great security.

Note: The manager usually posts the keys so you need to make arrangements in advance, if like us, you don't have an address or phone. Overall we were very impressed and had a great stay.
