This was the first time visiting this part of town with the car. It was relatively easy to negotiate the roadworks, given it was the holiday time and extremely busy. I was meeting friends nearby, and chose this car park as I'm not too familiar with taking a car into the city centre. The traffic was very well managed, and getting into the car park was easy enough. Once inside, it wasn't so good! The spaces were very tight, \nx although most of the signage was easy enough to follow, there were points where it led to a dead-end. Cars were reversing back out, and it was a bit chaotic at times.
It wasn't the cheapest, but it was very convenient for Princes Street.
Although only passing through, the Omni centre itself looked very nice with a good variety of eating places and shopping.

We went to see Paddington on the 2/12/17 for the 1245 screening. as it was our first time using vouchers we were unsure how we could use them but the stewards explained where to go, and the person at the desk was so helpful. Its a great place to chill out on a cold day, and the sound effects were great. It was quite for our screening but noticed on leaving how busy it had become.

We arrived at 7pm to find the ticket desk closed and that we had to book from the refreshment counter. Here, there was one active till and seven closed ones. The first person we saw reach the desk took a while to peruse the menu before ordering hot dogs, which the sole server had to cook alongside drinks and tickets. To be fair, extra staff were eventually summoned, though the one who served us had trouble with the till. The Gents toilets were out of action when we finally got in. A plus was the patience and good humour of the staff under pressure and the fact that the seats were comfortable and the view of the screen was good. It seemed expensive, but perhaps we are spoiled by our local independent cinema having a one price policy of £4 for all people on every screening.
