I saw the tapestry when it was on display at the Scottish Parliament and it was amazing, a really nice way to display the history of Scotland.

Amazing intricate piece of work by 1000 stitchers from across Scotland. Tells the story of some of Scotland's history, inventions etc and apart from being beautiful to look at, is also very informative. Currently on show in Kirkcaldy until September.

This truly amazing piece of art works on so many levels- for those who are into a nations history, those who appreciate fantastic art/ illustration and who can see the important relevance of this work being produced by the people for the people. Artist Andrew Crummy has visualised beautifully.

Well worth a visit! A good look at history in Scotland. A few important inventors/inventions missed, but overall superb. The detail in some of the stitch work is beautiful, only thing that kinda marred it for me was the pencil marks on the cloth where the design had taken a different route.

Currently touring the country and presently in Ayr, this is one not to be missed! I'm not particularly in to history or arty stuff but I'm glad I saw this and plan another visit to absorb more of this. The amount of work that a vast number of people have put in to this is fantastic and I could only marvel at their skill and dedication. I learned many things about Scotland and its history even after a Scottish upbringing and a good Scottish schooling.
