The location of the property is ideal away from the main busy roads yet 10 minutes away from the centre. great flat very cosy alot of character and you will feel right at home. I would stay here again and again, its a shame I did not get to meet the owners but never the less they made us feel welcome by making the place ready and clean and also adding a few other touches all of which is appreciated and makes this the ideal place for a romantic getaway weekend to explore a wonderful city. Thank you Sylvia hopefully we might see you again in the near future.
Cozy, comfortable apartment! About a 20 minute walk from Royal Mile. Great contact and welcome package from renter. Perfect place to relax after a day of exploring the sights of Edinburgh. Highly recommend.
Sylvie was very welcoming with a great welcome pack which was a nice touch. Apartment could do with some updating. Would recommend.
We stayed for 3 nights and the apartment is beautiful, larger and even nice than the photographs show. Sylvia was unable to meet us at the flat, but left us a lovely welcome note with full instructions for everything and phone numbers, plus a lovely welcome package of shortbread, chocolates, milk, bread and butter. Plus the cupboards were full of tea, coffee, condiments, cooking oils and herbs and spices.
Only 15 minutes walk to Princes Street and Waverely Station, 10 mins to Sainsbury's local, and a nearby corner shop (but watch the prices here!). We had pretty much planned our itinerary for the weekend, but Sylvia left plenty of leaflets and fliers for local attractions, takeaways and taxi firms. We would love to stay here again should we re-visit Edinburgh.

I am on a tour de england with my patents after graduation, we have been to five towns, lived in places of similar price range, including a holiday rental, nothing came close to this gem in the lower ground of new town edinburgh. the middle/upper class neighbour hood is extremely quiet, fifteen mins walking to waverly, with a small convenient store around the corner.
the apartment itself is impeccable. As I am writing this review, I am listening to music i picked out of fifty sth CDs in the lounge, which comes with three murals, a working fireplace and view of the delicate backyard with a table and chairs. you can find the rest in other reviews and the description.
The host Sylvie is a star.
if there is anything you could complain, is that it is 20 mins walk away from the nearest sainsbury, from where you can get stuff to utilise the fully packed kitchen.
Enough of spoilers, enjoy edinburgh.
