Gareth was there to meet us when we arrived to give us a quick tour of the apartment and answer our questions. The place is very comfortably decorated and has all modern conveniences including speedy wi-fi. The kitchen has everything you'd need to make a home-cooked meal. There was a pint of milk in the refrigerator and a loaf of fresh bread on the counter-top when we arrived (nice touch!).
The location on Rose Street is very convenient: less than 10-min. walk from the Edinburgh train station. Just outside the front door you'll find many pubs/restaurants in only a few steps. Take another few steps around the corner to Princes Street for a stunning view of Edinburgh Castle. It'll be hard to find a better location in all of Edinburgh for this value.

This is a very well equipped, spacious apartment right in the heart of Edinburgh. It is a short walking distance to many good restaurants and all the central tourist attractions. Convenient bus transport makes getting further afield easy. (Make sure you get the excellent Edinburgh bus App.)
Provisioning is convenient, with an excellent M&S food hall just up the road and a farmers' market nearby (in Castle Terrace) on Saturday mornings.
The only drawback was the young women living above who returned home noisily and apparently drunkenly late on both Friday and Saturday nights. Hopefully, they're visitors too!

This apartment exceeded expectations. The location is brilliant. Too often you have to sacrifice the quality of the accommodation for such a great location but not here. It is tastefully renovated with a modern feel but has retained a lot of the original features.

Its a home from home and very reseaonbly priced for the size and how immaculate the landlord Gareth had it for our arrival. Gareth was very welcoming and helpful. He was very flexible with arrival and check out times. He has the flat stocked with many essentials and the arrival pack was a nice touch.
