We had a really nice stay at the Moxy. We stayed for 4 nights, beds were comfy but a little narrow for a twin room! The room itself was spacious and nicely furnished- well kept too. The room had aircon and a kettle in the room too (something we weren’t sure on from other reviews!) We struggled to figure out how to work the casting feature on the tv so we could watch Netflix etc.. instructions could be clearer to tell you to make sure Bluetooth is on! Really nice touch of a photo booth in the reception- £4 for a session and a nice memento of the trip. Staff were really friendly.

The hotel is further out than most, we found it easier to get a multi-day tram ticket to get from Haymarket/west end into the centre of the city. The walk is absolutely do-able but quite hilly for those who may struggle with that!

Would definitely recommend staying at the Moxy Edinburgh Fountainbridge!

The Moxy Edinburgh Fountainbridge is very clean, comfortable, a very friendly and accommodating staff, super fun lobby, a delicious variety of breakfast, a comfortable bar and lounge with a lot of books, games and live plants. The location is a short walk from the middle of Edinburgh's shopping and entertainment.

Just had lovely cocktails up in the rooftop bar. As ever in edinburgh the weather was not great but we sat inside and it is a lovely cosy bar. I couldn’t choose between two cocktails but the waiter was able to advise on what I would like based on flavours I usually choose. Really recommend the tequila cocktail with the chilli.
