Description: Situated in the heart of Edinburgh New Town on the corner of George Street and St Andrews Square, Amarone Edinburgh is the perfect venue for a meal with business colleagues or friends. Our striking restaurant offers the cool ambience of a contemporary Milanese restaurant and pizzeria dining experience. Our bustling bar carries a wide range of the finest Italian wines, Prosecco, Champagne and an Italian inspired cocktail list. It's the ideal location to meet friends pre and post dinner, to take a break from a hectic shopping trip, or to wind down after a hard day at the office. Located in the former safe, the “Vault” private dining room is perfect for special occasions, meetings, or to enjoy a cocktail master class with one of our bartenders. The Vault is suitable for parties of 12 to 32 people, with a maximum of 20 for the cocktail master classes.

Booked online in advance which was easy to do. Arrived on Easter Sunday for 8pm booking- the restaurant was busy and there was a great buzz.

Service good and prices reasonable. Plenty choices on menu.

An Italian restaurant in a brilliant location in the heart of Edinburgh's St Andrew's Square. It is in a grand imposing building and, even though very big, was packed to the gunnels when we wandered in to see what was what. We found good food at a reasonable price, responsive staff, and plenty of atmosphere, Fish and chicken dishes were enjoyed as were the panna cotta and creme brulee. We shall surely wander in again to more purpose.

We were a big noisy crowd and the staff were efficient, friendly and helpful, the food was delicious and it had a great atmosphere. It was very busy! Would recommend this for anyone. The menu was varied and had lots of options for vegetarians as well as fish dishes.
