I visited here as I was staying in the hotel next door and so pleased I did, it’s not the biggest zoo I’ve been to but it has a lovely relaxed feel to it and the animals were all in decent enclosures. I loved the Sun bears and the Giant Pandas and could have watched them for hours!

We visited this zoo for my son on his 6th birthday and we had great day out, we spent 3.5 hours here and left exhausted. My main attraction is Pandas. Will definitely return to see PANDAS again.

It is a bit hilly but they do offer mobility support. a lot of animals can be off show due to conservation and breeding programs. The sun bears were having a fight that was hilarious, the panda was so cute and the koala was proper chilled out. definitely worth a visit in Edinburgh.

Animal lovers it’s a great place to hang around. Lots of walking , climbing up and down. Many rare animals can be seen. The only difficulty I faced was no provision of water once you r climbing up. Unless you have water and you are already up you have to come down to get water. The zoo is having a large area. It takes one full day to cover.the giant panda and penguin parade ,the koala, the wallaby lots of animals to see. Not many tigers and lions are there. But animals are well taken care of. A good experience.
