This is a relatively small tea room (6-7 tables only) with a very quaint interior setting. Therefor it's usually pretty busy. We had an afternoon cream tea. They had a nice selection of home made cakes, pastries and scones. The staff was very friendly.

The room is small, and there is no heating or at least if there is, it has no chance against the constantly opening door. The baked goods on offer are quite ordinary. The atmosphere could be cozy but isn’t. And they start cleaning up at 4:30 pm so get out of there before or enjoy the smell of detergent and the excitement of chairs on the tables while you try to finish your tea shivering in you complete outdoor attire. I see no reason ever to come back here.

Having eaten here on many occasions I was really looking forward to the Scottish breakfast. When my food arrived it looked amazing as always. The sausages were cold and the staff were very helpful and quick to change them, unfortunately when they came back they were like rubber as if they were cooked the day before then reheated. Extremely disappointed this time around.

Cosy seating, lovely tea and cake selection. Great place to crash for a snack or creme tea after walking through the city. Limited seating, but tables can be shared.
