We grabbed a table on the seafront on the hottest day of the year! Had some drinks and decided to eat too. The place looks lovely and is in a prime location. The wine was standard restaurant wine and to be honest reasonably priced compared to similar places.
I ordered the burger and my friends both took the steak. We waited about 35 mins for the food. As it was the hottest day thus far and the staff were busy, we didn’t mind waiting that bit longer. When my burger arrived it was sat in a burnt bun. So much so that when you touched it, it crumbled away. I had to send it back. My friends steaks were also disappointing and over priced! £22 for what seemed like a slice no thicker than a piece of ham. One of my friends couldn’t eat his as the cut was just full of fat.
Sadly we were very disappointed with our meal. If passing, I’d stop for a coffee and maybe a cake, but that’s it. The restaurant food really is poor.
