Visited this restaurant as part of a 3 day trip to Edinburgh and although we also visited a highly recommended restaurant and a Michelin starred one - this was the cheapest and the best of the bunch. the menu is fairly small, but I did not struggle to find more than one option - if you are the type who likes chips with everything this is not the place for you - they are not on the menu. If I had to criticize at all it would be that the service was very quick and the fabulous parfait did not come with any of the equally fabulous bread. however I would praise the food and the level of service - the table next to us had a food allergy which did not seem to phase them when mentioned. I would certainly recommend the restaurant but would look to find somewhere nearby for a pre dinner drink if wanted - noting that the restaurant is slightly off the main road and there is not anything in the immediate vicinity that caught our eye to have a drink in. Plenty on the main road though. Dress code is smart casual and the staff wear jeans so they would not be out of place on the clientele.

Located around the corner from the Waldorf Caldonian, this bright spot serves the freshest ingredients, eye pleasing plates, gorgeous service. Our best meal in Edinburgh!

Had dinner with friends here a couple of nights ago. Amazing little restaurant tucked away in the west end of the city. Food was fabulous, so tasty, and service great. Happy to sit and Chatter and a definite favourite for other trips.

This is one of the best restaurants we have ever visited.

We like it so much we ate twice in 2 days.

Appetizers were unique and delicious.
We had the chicken liver, asparagus, salmon. They were all wonderful.

The lamb will be the best succulent and tasteful dish among all, it has a very soft texture with perfectly cooked meat with pink.
The chicken is so tender and juicy.
The cod is delicious as well.

The dessert:
Chocolate mousse and strawberry and gin sponge. They were all perfect ending for a wonderful meal.

The service were outstanding.

Cameron was very helpful and friendly, he even gave us Information for the next part of our journey.

We will be back.
Highly recommended.
