Really enjoyed the house all the facilities are great wifi worked okay and I hope to stay again soon.

“Would go back again”

We had a brilliant week in Four Mile Cottage. Were met within 30 seconds of arriving and shown round the cottage. Owner had left tea, coffee, milk and biscuits, and a beautiful vase of flowers. Beds were made with fresh towels on top. Rooms were clean and very spacious for such a wee place. Cottage was very close to the dual carriageway but with the door and windows closed you would have thought you were in the middle of nowhere.More than enough room for 4 of us. We would definitely go back again if heading that way. Couldnt fault it.

“Ace”

The place was easy to find with the directions .
The lady had put fresh flowers there for us , also tea , coffee ,& milk ,so we could settle down with a cuppa when we got there .
The cottage is very comfortable & spotless .
The whole area is very interesting beautiful scenery ,& friendly owners .
What more could you ask for ?

“A great place for a quiet getaway.”

The cottage was was very comfortable and well equipped, its location was very peaceful, yet only ten minutes from Dumfries and we had a very pleasant stay there. The owners who live on site were most helpful but in no way intrusive. As a family we had no moans at all about this cottage and would definitely use it again.
