“A peaceful week away.”
Reviewed 22 March 2015 for a stay in March 2015

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at no 1 Tramway Cottages, a well run, spotlessly clean and comfortably furnished cottage located in the stunning village of Ellenabeich.
If your looking for a peaceful week away, in beautiful surroundings with plenty walks and points of interest nearby I couldn't recommend Ellenabeich and Tramway Cottages highly enough.

“Beautiful relaxing stay, with my family!”

My partner and I stayed here in August with our 7 month old baby. The property is in a lovely spot in the very pretty village of Ellenabeich, approx 30 mins from Oban. The house itself is well laid out, with a spacious lounge and well equipped kitchen. Upstairs there are 2 good size bedrooms, one double, one twin and a bathroom with bath and shower. The property is maintained to a very high standard, the kitchen is immaculate and has everything you could need with a dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, fridge, freezer, oven and microwave. And the lounge has an open fire, tv with sky, a bookcase well stocked with DVDs, board games and books. The property also had wifi, which was something that we really appreciated. Upstairs the bedrooms were beautifully maintained with lovely bed linen and plenty of storage space for everything that a small baby requires (which is a lot!)
I think the thing that really impressed us with our stay was that the owner, Annabel, has really thought about everything, there was milk and a bottle of wine in the fridge, washing up liquid, dishwasher powder, washing powder and fabric softener, toilet rolls, flowers on the table and wood for the fire. There was also lots of information about all the things to do locally. Also Annabel is only round the corner, so if there was anything we needed she was always at hand.
The village itself has a great pub for meals, and a really interesting gift shop (you have to pay it a visit!) as well as seafari adventures.
We would definitely recommend staying here at Tramway cottages, we had a really relaxing stay in such a beautiful part of the country, and we hope to visit again next year.
