“Excellent”
Reviewed 17 April 2016 for a stay in April 2016

Seven of us stayed for the weekend.
Nothing we could fault and the owner was just lovely. Jusy a lovely experience overall. Felt very safe. Clean, warm and comprehensive in equipment and white goods. We didn't leave once but to walk down to the loch and castle.

Perfect when you need time away in a lovely remote location but a short hop to resteraunts and oban if that is needed.Hot tub was the best addition and the bbq perfect.

First self catering I would return to in a minute.

Thanks for your full and wonderful review. It will be a pleasure to welcome you back next year to enjoy some energetic outdoor activities balanced with the restful relaxation on offer at Seabank.
The cycle path goes from Oban to Ballachulish and as you say there is no need to cycle on the main road making it is perfect for families with young children.
I'm glad you mentioned the coffee machine...this is nearly as important as a hot tub when choosing a holiday cottage!!
See you next summer,
Sandy

Thanks for your great review! The area is indeed perfect for walking and hiking, from short strolls along the shore of Loch Creran to hill-walking on Ben Nevis or Ben Cruachan. I am glad that you enjoyed relaxing in the outdoor hot tub, soaking up the wonderful scenery.
It was lovely to meet your family and thanks for coming to Seabank Lodge. Regards, Sandy

“Stunning location, brilliant property we will be back”
Reviewed 7 July 2015 for a stay in June 2015

Scotland in June has the most amazing light and Seabank Lodge is just the place to appreciate it. The lodge has been built to take full advantage of the views of Loch Creran (which is incidentally a 3 minute walk from your front door). The lodge can take 8 people but it was cosy enough for 2 of us and the dog not to rattle around. Ideally situated for walks to suit every fitness level (the hot tub a welcome place to ease those muscles and watch the small amount of boat activity on the loch). Oban is just 10 miles away. If this wasn't enough there is a Michelin starred restaurant about 2 miles from you which is well worth a visit. All in all and great week - we will be back.
