“A Fairytale come true”
Reviewed 25 May 2017 for a stay in May 2017

What can I say but totally blissful.
This little patch of fairydust hides behind a chocolate box cottage and a garden that would be totally welcomed in Chelsea. If you didn't want anyone to know you were there they would not.

Pristinely clean and so comfortable. Breakfast delivered to the door. And the host is just lovely.

This is a must go to hideaway. It is romantic and whimsical and needs to be seen to be appreciated.

Enjoy.

“Get away from it all in a lovely garden”
Reviewed 12 May 2017 for a stay in May 2017

A wonderful place to stay in quiet and comfortable surroundings. Angela the owner could not do enough for us. Stayed here for four days and would have happily stayed longer. Sweet little one room cottage in a pretty garden, very comfortable bed in a spotless building and your own private patio as well. Marvellous hideaway for couples and you don't have to lift a finger. Fresh rolls of choice delivered to your door each morning and your washing up done for you. Difficult to think of the words to describe how delightful this place is.

“Perfect winter hideaway”
Reviewed 6 December 2016 for a stay in December 2016

From the moment I arrived in St Vigeans I felt as though I'd stepped back in time. The picturesque church and idyllic row of cottages were stunning. I was greeted by Amanda who was busy decorating her stunning garden with all things Christmas. Friendly, warm with exceptional attention to detail, Amanda made my stay exactly what I wanted it to be....comfortable,quiet and relaxing.

A private courtyard, peaceful walks on your doorstep and a magical garden to enjoy and unwind in. I will definitely be staying here again!

“Lovely break”
Reviewed 22 August 2016 for a stay in August 2016

Loved our stay, room amazing. Private room away from main house with all amenities required. Spotless, homely yet with all modern amenities. Great sleep, very quiet with comfortable bed. Owner Angela couldn't do enough for us. Gluten free bread, muffins and cereal available with continental breakfast. Good size fridge filled with yoghurts cheese, milk and juice. Couldn't ask for more, thank you for making our break so relaxing.

“Beautiful little hideaway”

We stayed here last summer for a week and were very impressed with the Bothy. It was finished to a lovely standard and we really appreciated the little courtyard outside- came in hand for breakfasting in the sunshine. The bothy was very clean and the owner very kindly brought us a newspaper with our breakfast every morning.
Perfectly situated for travelling around the East coast and central Scotland, and walking distance to the local town (about a 15 minute walk); although a car would be advisable if you intend to travel further out regularly.
The only thing I would say, that is not mentioned in the description (although should be obvious) as there are essentially only two rooms to the accommodation (main room and bathroom), there is a fridge-freezer in the main room. This is wonderfully useful, but if you're an extremely light sleeper, then the usual fridge noisy can be frustrating- however it is an extremely quiet fridge as far as fridges go!
The bed was super duper soft, and we had everything we needed for a short break including a microwave-oven!
Thank you again for a wonderful holiday, we would definitely stay again and recommend to our friends.
