We could easily have spent the whole day here. Lots for my 2 to do (7 and 5 year olds). Cafe was okay - could have done with a few more menu options. Activities are great - liked the outdoor section too!

Just back from having our 5 year olds birthday there. Couldn't have asked for a better party . The girls that lead the party were amazing at keeping a bunch of hyper 5 year olds in order. Nothing was to much for the girls and everyone had an awesome time. Even got a few comments by parents saying how great it was. Thanks again for helping us celebrate coopers 5th birthday. Highly recommended!!

Great experience for the children with loads of hands on experiments. Demonstrations / talks were interesting and able to be understood by children.

We came here in the half term holiday and the kids had a brilliant time. We were staying in Ballater and looking for something a bit different to do and this was perfect! Easy parking (free), reasonably priced entry fee (£18 for a family ticket) and a cafe on site which had a good range of food from soup & a sandwich to hot dog & chips for the kids.

The Centre itself is all on one floor with lots of different activity stations and information points all around the room. I liked how interactive everything was and it felt like a very ‘safe space’ for the kids to run around and try all the different activities at their own pace.

Throughout the day there were shows and presentations which were announced as they were about to begin. My kids absolutely loved the ‘on the spot science’ and the lady who did the experiments with them was lovely and very engaging with the children. In fact, all the staff we spoke to were lovely and great with the kids.

We stayed about 4hrs and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. There were plenty of challenges and activities that the adults could get involved in too and my husband and I spent ages trying to get a rope off a series of metal poles!!

The only negative I can think of was that it got a little cold in the Centre towards the end of our visit but then again, what do you really expect in Aberdeen in February?! None of the kids seemed in the slightest bit bothered so not really a problem at all.

A great day out.

A friend and I visited on a Tuesday we had the whole place to ourselves. This place is clearly aimed at children but that didn't stop us (two 33 year olds) from enjoying ourselves and the staff still demonstrated everything to us including the live experiments. I particularly enjoyed the Life show in the dome.
Staff were brilliant, thanks!
