The first thing I usually do is find the hop on and off bus tour if visiting a city for the first time as this is the best way to get to see all the attractions and a feeling for the city.
The ticket allows you to hop on and off at one of its 23 stops in this great city. The tour last 90minutes from start to finish and the commentry is very good and the staff give you lots of relevant information and discount coupons if visiting some of the attractions.
A must trip to do and you will not be disapointed and the price is very good and the ticket last for 2 days.

Going on a weekend trip to Belfast we decided the best way to see the highlights is using a hop on hop off bus type tour in the first instance. This is our usual start to any city break.

Saw an offer on Groupon which we thought was too good to be true...... an unfortunately it was.

Poor quality buses. Poor sound quality with the onboard live guide, who had us confused, he was obviously not facing the same direction as the passengers and confused Left and Right..... little punctuality- even allowing for traffic conditions. Broken down bus left stranded at Belfast Castle - then we were told LIES. Advised we were heading straight back to the city as the bus needed to go off service. However the tour continued. This must be the most indirect, direct route ever. We then witnessed the same bus being used that same afternoon.

Avoid this at all costs. We usually use CITYSIGHTSEEING and we will not use other companies now based on this experience. It is a shame as competition is good for the customer...... not in this case.

Poor quality. Poor couldn't care less attitude for customers.

This tour is an absolute must if you, like me, are a first time visitor to the city.
It gives you a real sense of the city, its geography and its history.
I loved it and went on it three times. I was lucky enough to get Dave the guide twice, who really knows his stuff and clearly cares about the city and its future as well as the past. I got a real understanding for what it must have been like living in the city.
I highly recommend this tour.

We were a group of four, two couples in our 50. We used to live in Hollywood nr Ireland. So going back to visit was a pleasure. The bus trip was so interesting and a good experience. The guide on the bus explained all about the troubles and the changes that have happened over the years. The fact that you can hop of and on the bus is great and s bus passes every 30 mins. Would I do the trip again. Yes I would.

We visited Belfast as a day trip from Dublin to visit to the Titanic Museum and to do this tour to get a flavour of Belfast. A wet and windy day but we enjoyed the ride. It was interest to see areas that we are familiar with from media reports and just disappointed that we did not have time to get off and explore a bit more. We will have to go back!! Our tour guide, Rachel, gave a great commentary linking together the past, present and the hopes for the future. As with other Red Bus tours this was a great way to see a lot and learn a lot in a short time.
