My husband and I flew in from Providence, RI and got in rather early. We went directly to the hotel to see if we could get early check in, and they were very accommodating. Dayna processed our early check in quickly and was incredibly pleasant and helpful throughout our stay (the whole staff was!).

Our room was sufficient for our stay, however the hotel provides bare minimum in the room. The bathroom is an odd pod, very small and gets very humid/moist. The water temperature was also inconsistent, it would change from hot to cold on and off. The hotel also doesn't provide toiletries, except for soap (bring your own). The bed was a little stiff and the same with the pillows. You do get used to it after a few nights.

On the plus side, the location is awesome. Botanic Avenue has so much to offer. There are a lot of amazing restaurants, that range in cuisine. From homestyle Irish foods, to falafel, and Asian food, you really can get anything. Also, there are a few grocery stores in walking distance (Russell's and Tesco's). The walk into town is about 15 minutes (Europa bus station is just £8/one way from the international airport). You'll also find the university, botanic gardens and the Ulster Museum, as well as a stop for the City Sight Seeing bus right around the corner. The location can't be any better!

Overall, if you're on a budget and can do without frills, but also looking for a convenient location, this is the place for you. The staff is great, room is so-so.

Modern everything and centrally located. Very friendly staff and great breakfast buffet. We found on-street parking in front of the adjacent church. The hotel is very secure and the front desk is manned 24/7.

You know what to expect from an Ibis Hotel and therefore was not disappointed Only complaint was a failure to provide two large towels rather than one large and one small
.
Helpful Staff although the city map could be a bit more extensive so that it covered a greater area of the city.

Within walking distance to most attractions (if you like walking). Room was fairly spacious if a little basic. Air conditioning unit very loud. Likes the bathroom pod with a lovely hot roomy shower. No in-room safe. Staff very good. Accommodation in Belfast is not cheap – had we paid the rack rate we would have been disappointed. On street parking sometimes available but preferred to park at a another hotel down the road who they had an agreement with which cost us nothing. Would stay again as long as we could get a cheap rate. Highly recommend “Wetherspoons The Bridge Hotel” for cheap grog and very reasonable meals only about 10 minutes’ walk away.

Room was adequate, staff were helpful, breakfast was adequate. Hotel is perfect for business people who have their hotel expenses paid for by their employers, but for ordinary tourists I struggled to understand how they could charge just under £100 per night for mostly average facilities.
On the plus side, the beds were Hypnos, & very comfortable.
My overall view of it was that it is not the best place for an average tourist to stay, just people overnighting on business trips.

Dear Cruiser594283,

Thank you for taking the time to share your comments on your recent stay to Ibis Queens Quarter. I am a bit disappointed to see that you do not find our hotel to be suitable for tourist visitors as we do enjoy catering to both business and tourist markets.

We generally receive great feedback from visitors due our location, within reach to major attractions and transport lines in the city, and our personalized service.

Unfortunately, in terms of the rates, this is a reflection of hotel prices in Belfast based on occupancy levels in the city.

However, I am very pleased to see you have found our beds to be comfortable and our staff to be helpful.

Thank you again for your feedback and we do hope we will get the opportunity to welcome you back to the hotel to show you more of what we can offer tourist visitors!

Kind regards,

Danya Salem
