The Oak Barn was highly recommended and did not disappoint. We were a family group of 8 adults, with 2 pregnant ladies, and looking for a relaxing break. We loved this place and spent most evenings in playing games as it was so cosy. Thank you to Leanne and Martyn for being so thoughtful and helpful. We are already talking about coming back. We loved the Gower area and went to most coves, bays and beaches, and highly recommend Rhossili and Oxwich. You do need a car but everywhere is no more than 30 minutes drive. Would recommend the refurbished Rake and Riddle at Penclawdd for good value food, with excellent Gower Gold beer on tap. We all loved the place and it is so well equipped. Thanks again.
When we have stayed on the Gower previously, we were nearer the coast. You do need a car to access the many beautiful beaches, but none are more than 30 minutes away, and our favorite, Three Cliffs Bay, half that. The accommodation is very comfortable and well maintained, with plenty of kitchen equipment, crockery, utensils etc and a very good gas BBQ. Plenty of room for 8 adults and a 1 year old, and great weather most of the week too!
Lovely place, kids particularly enjoyed the hot tub. Welcome pack was a really nice touch. Would recommend a stay.
Wonderful cottage with accommodation which really worked for our family holiday (three generations). Well equipped, cosy atmosphere yet still felt spacious. Nice treat to have a hot tub. Location gives good access to Swansea as well as beaches. Highly recommend.
All my family loved this house and the dogs too. The location is good for the Gower beaches, but some of them are a long walk to reach. We visited Penlergau Country Park, which could be a lovely day out for the young and fit but not for older people,as there is a shortage of seating. Perhaps the Council could help with this and also the upkeep.
