We visited the Waterloo on a last minute get away to South Wales and we’re so glad we found this place! Amazing price for beautiful rooms! Terri was a wonderful host and very accommodating, she was amazing and let us have a late check out due to a planned night out in Cardiff! We didn’t eat, but the food coming out the kitchen looked amazing! I Rarely write reviews, but this place deserves it!

Stayed here 1 night for the 6 nations game. Taxi return to cardiff £50 worth every penny and back for a nice meal away from the madness of zcardiff on match day. Service excellent food very good and hotel very comfortable. I will be back.

This is lovely place to stay. It's pretty quiet, rooms are very nice and comfortable, a real home from home. Bob and Terri are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast's are excellent. Can't recommend this hotel highly enough!

I have eaten at the Waterloo about a dozen times or so over the past few years, both in small table and large party table groups, with family and business. Went there today for lunch with an old friend with very discerning culinary taste... the food was sublime. New menu is fabulous and the quality of the ingredients top notch.

I'll be going back even more frequently now.

Thank you

Driven pass loads of times and finally got to eat here.
Sunday lunchtime, Brilliant.
Staff attentive, polite and friendly. Food really good (Whitebait, Lamb shank, no room for desert!).
Will gladly recommend to anyone and look forward to more visits.
