“GREAT PLACE TO STAY IN A GREAT LOCATION”
Reviewed 7 February 2017 for a stay in February 2017

A group of 10 of us stayed over the weekend of the 2nd - 5th Feb.
Wonderful property, where we wanted for nothing. A high standard of just about everything from bedding to every kitchen utensil you could ever want (we cooked large meals for the 10 of us on two of the evenings).
Superb location, literally 2 minutes walk from the main street, but because of its location at the other side of the bridge, the peace and quiet was assured.
Highly recommended.

“Pristinely presented property in the heart of Betws y Coed”
Reviewed 16 January 2017 for a stay in December 2016

I stayed in Swn-y-Dwr with a group of friends for New Year. The owner of the property was very friendly and helpful from the point I booked the property all through to the end of our stay - a very pleasant experience.

The property itself is very well presented inside, clearly undergoing recent renovation.

The kitchen is very well equipped and we made full use of it, cooking a meal for 11 people on New Years Eve - plenty of space for all.

The bedrooms are nicely presented and very comfortable - the ensuite facilities were very welcome. The lounge is a very nice place to relax with plenty of space for everyone and nice finishing touches.

Whilst we didn't use the gardens (given the time of year!) I can imagine they are fantastic during warmer months.

Location is brilliant - in the heart of Betws-y-Coed, near all local shops and pubs and within easy reach of local walks.

We would certainly here stay again!

“Great holiday cottage”
Reviewed 27 November 2016 for a stay in October 2016

We enjoyed a half term break in the house. Firstly the location is superb being almost next to the waterfall and bridge in Betws-y-Coed.

The cottage was recently renovated so most things are new.

We had two families and grandparents and the cottage was well sized. We spent most of our time downstairs in the kitchen which had a nice large table with a TV.

The owners live locally and we're very helpful. On the last couple of nights our son was ill and was sick. We also ended up breaking a mug in the bathroom. Nic was very helpful and understanding.

In summary a great cottage in an outstanding location with very helpful and accommodating owners. Doesn't get much better. Thanks!

“Great family friendly property, perfectly located for access to local amenities.”
Reviewed 23 November 2016 for a stay in October 2016

We all loved our stay at Swn-y-dwr; lovely house with plenty of space, fantastic garden that the kids loved running round, and nice views all around. Proximity to local shops, bars etc is perfect, literally a 2 minute walk to the main thoroughfare, but it never feels too close, being situated on the opposite side of the river running through the village. Betws-y-Coed is a fabulous place, lots of bars, shops & eateries, a great place to set up camp !
