“Bluebell Cottage, Maenan – Relaxing Holiday Cottage for Two”
Reviewed 3 September 2016 for a stay in August 2016

We spent a week at the cottage and enjoyed the stay in the area.

The cottage is as described, comfortable but small.

The deck outside is a lovely sun trap.

The gardens are pretty and the views from the cottage are great. The location offers easy access to many activities and locations.

All in all, a relaxing week and the weather was kind to us.

“A Dream”
Reviewed 5 June 2016 for a stay in May 2016

Lovely small cottage, in stunning setting, garden and views! We were blessed to have a whole week of sunshine included!
Everything you need and ideal for 2 people, 3 possible but could get a bit crowded. Very kind and helpful owners. Sea and mountain activities all close by, but nice local walk without using the car possible too. Llanwrst is also worth a visit. As well as sunbathing on the terrace and lunch in the garden, there is even a barbecue just outsider the cottage. About the cottage itself, excellent bed, footstools to put your feet up, wall mounted hairdryer, excellent wifi, even a sewing kit. I could go on! We had a significant birthday celebration there, And could not have wished for better. The only reason you might not choose this place is if you have mobility problems, as there is a well-paved and well-lit, but uphill path to the cottage with a few steps to get in.

Liked best: The setting, the whole experience. When we came back from the birthday performance, and all the lights by the path came on!
Liked least: The size of the shower

“Wonderful Stay”
Reviewed 26 May 2016 for a stay in May 2016

My husband and I stayed at this lovely little cottage for a week, loved every minute of it, The views are amazing and it's so peaceful. The cottage is very well equipped, we couldn't find any fault with it at all. Sylvia made us very welcome as did Buster the dog, who visited us a couple of nights! Would definitely recommend and would love to return! Thank you Sylvia. Pam and Steve

“Excellent chalet.”

My wife and I stayed here for a week mid April 2016.
It is a compact wooden chalet type building. (Like a summer house). It has a small verranda and a decent decking area with a couple of sun loungers and chairs. There is also a table/bench unit for your use, as well as a BBQ.
It is ideal for two people although there is an additional single bed for, I would say a child (in a very small room off the main bedroom). I think that it has been pretty well thought out and very cosy. It is very clean and neat with a small galley type kitchen and a decent comfortable bed.
The toilet/shower room is compact, but like the rest of the accommodation, it is very adequate. The shower cubicle is quite small but has a good shower unit in it. Hot water is on demand to the taps and shower. Everything else you will need is there.
It is not too isolated, just a short drive to town (about 8-10 miles in either direction) and a great location for visiting the mountains, coast and other interesting attractions.
There was some coffee sachets and teabags in a bowl, with a jug of fresh milk in the fridge. Sky TV, a DVD player with a few DVD's. Exclusive Wifi connection was also included.
Oh, and there was a complimentary bottle of wine and a chocolate orange waiting for us.
Would we go back? Yes! My wife and I would certainly return to this chalet on any future visits to the area.
Not suitable for disabled persons.
