A very welcome haven on a wet bank holiday Monday. Very busy but then realised the queue was people waiting to order at the counter so soon found a nice cosy corner to sit with our dog. Decided to order afternoon tea, although it at first seemed expensive, when it arrived we realised it would serve us for the next three afternoons. The sandwiches were on fresh baked bread and there was an unusual variety of cakes. Found the staff pleasant and helpful.
