A very welcome haven on a wet bank holiday Monday. Very busy but then realised the queue was people waiting to order at the counter so soon found a nice cosy corner to sit with our dog. Decided to order afternoon tea, although it at first seemed expensive, when it arrived we realised it would serve us for the next three afternoons. The sandwiches were on fresh baked bread and there was an unusual variety of cakes. Found the staff pleasant and helpful.

Food very good, but very disappointed by the way we were treated. The waitress was very rude to my son when he was kindly helping to gather old crockery used by another group. This was the first time we had met her and she came stomping over in a huff even though he was helping. She then proceeded to shout at him about making a mess. I did tell her that she really shouldn't speak to people in such a manner and that it was rude, after all he was just trying to help. She then ranted at us for 5 minutes. I eventually had to ask her to leave the table. Reading other reviews, there have been issues in the past. Why is this waitress still being employed when she clearly has no patience or customer service. She definitely needs further customer service training. After working with the public myself for years, most people respond better to tolerance and kindness. Very disappointing. Other staff seemed fine.

Vegan breakfast is absolutely amazing here! So many vegan options to choose from in such a beautiful setting.

We enjoy coming to this cafe every time we visit Betws Y Coed and each time we walk away happy. Full breakfast was delicious and the teas that we tried were very nice. What we also love is being able to take our dog inside.

On every visit to Betws Y Coed we visit this cafe. Fabulous full breakfast! Such quality food & the staff are so good.
The coffee is great & there is a substantial tea menu. Quirky but really cosy environment.
We will be back....
