“Perfect hideaway for everyone”

I am not sure that we can convey just how excellent our stay has been at Caban Betws. From the moment we have arrived our hosts have been nothing but friendly and helpful, ensuring our stay was comfortable and we had all we needed. According to the visitors' book we are not the only people who feel this. The caban itself is exceptionally clean and excellently maintained, with first rate facilities. It is warm too, something that was rather important at this time of year!

There are walks that can be done from the doorstep, through the woods and by the river. The nearest town is just a five minute drive and has all you need. We visited Llechwedd Slate Caverns, Porthmadog, Llandudno, Greenwood Park, and Llanberis.wecan recommend The Big Rock Cafe (Porthmadog) and Pete's Eats (Llanberis) as great places to eat. Our 2 and 5 year old boys have had a brilliant time exploring!

All in all we have had a wonderful week. My only reluctance in writing this review is other people discovering what we consider to be a gem in the countryside. thank you to Iwan and family for ensuring our holiday was restful and enjoyable.
