“Wonderful House”
Reviewed 28 April 2017 for a stay in April 2017

We stayed here for a week in the Easter hols. 5 adults 8 children & a baby. What a Wonderful house, truly comfortable, with so much space & the kitchen facilities were Fantastic!
Jackie the owner was so lovely & so welcoming.
The outside gardens were Perfect for the children to play in (& to see the pigs) also for the adults to sit out in & being on the farm was great for the children too.
I would highly recommend staying here, it was definitely 10 out 10 for all of us. Thank you Jackie.

“An Experience of a lifetime”
Reviewed 3 January 2017 for a stay in December 2016

This year we decided as an extended family of 3 generations to celebrate New Year together. I set about finding accommodation to fit us all in comfortably. We had 7 adults & 5 children. We had a fair few requirements due to disability but on paper Glan Tywyn Hall seemed to fit the bill.
When we arrived (stress free, thanks to Jackie's directions) we were completely overwhelmed, it was far better than we could have imagined due to the sheer size of accommodation on offer.
We arrived in the dark so bundled into the property and worked out bedrooms before exploring what was on offer. Jackie called in to check we had settled in and to see if we needed anything as well as having a chat about the history of fantastic building we were to live in for the next few days.
The property itself is practical in terms of kitchen use, we stayed 4 nights and ate in for every meal in fact the days out we planned never happened because just being there was holiday enough.
We took a long walk in the surrounding countryside and read some of the many fabulous books they have whilst sitting on big comfy sofas or chaise lounges. There is an abundance of antique furniture and we found the whole place to be decorated beautifully. The icing on the cake were the Christmas decorations which were tasteful and really pretty all lit up in the evening.
We had a New Years Eve party and filled the house with food, drink & music with the children dancing around like something out of a movie!
If you like traditional properties full of history and character then this is the place to go, we felt it was a privilege to stay in such a wonderful property and will certainly return.

“Amazing place for large family group”
Reviewed 1 August 2016 for a stay in July 2016

This house is amazing - so much space and very well-equipped.
There were 14 of us ...with ages ranging from 6 weeks to 88yrs - it wasn't possible to get under each other's feet - we were more likely to get lost in there!!
There are loads of places to sit down and read if you just want some quiet time and the garden is lovely too. The huge kitchen and dining area meant we could all sit down together to eat. The owner was very friendly and popped over to see if we were OK.
I would definitely recommend Glan Tywyn for large family groups and get-togethers.

Liked best: The house itself - it was amazing
Liked least: Apparently the wi-fi connection was slow. That didn't bother me at all but it was the only adverse comment from any of my party!

“Super stay in the Brilliant Glan Tywn Hall”
Reviewed 12 March 2016 for a stay in February 2016

Our large party of 14 family members a baby and two dogs visited Glan Tywyn Hall for a week in February, driving up the long bumpy drive we were a bit apprehensive, but as we went inside and saw how warm and welcoming it was we knew we would feel right at home.
One of our party was arriving earlier and contacted the owner who was able to accommodate her request for a space for a trailer.
Although it was a very cold February this year the Hall has a brilliant heating system keeping us nice and toasty day and night.
The Hall is part of a working farm, so we were not surprised for a sheep to pop in and say hello to us in the courtyard. The outside tap was useful to wash the dogs off after a days rambling too.
There is a large kitchen and enough equipment to serve meals for 16, twin ovens large hob with wok burner and a great American style fridge freezer, the kids loved the ice maker.
Bedrooms were well decorated and the bedding linen was new and very clean, it is a very old and traditional property if you are the kind of person who likes modern it may not suit you if you like the cosy feeling of a big warm period house with a few age blemishes then Glan Tywyn Hall will be right for you.
The large lounge upstairs with vaulted ceiling was a favourite for reading in and enjoying a bit of quiet time, the kids enjoyed watching the Hawks and Typhoons taking off from RAF Valley just over the fields towards the beach at Rhosneigr.
10 minutes way from the nearest shop and around 20 minutes from the nearby town with all the usual supermarkets, you are not far away from anything on Anglesey and we enjoyed many great days out and some great communal family meals where we all took turns to cook at night.

If you want a big warm fun place to holiday with friends and family then Glan Tywyn Hall is the place for you, if you are the type who doesn’t like the odd nettle or period property then you are better off booking a clinical Travelodge box.

We loved it so much we will be booking again next year 

“Perfect House for a Group Stay”
Reviewed 25 November 2015 for a stay in September 2015

Plenty of room, comfy beds and lovely and clean.....
The owner was welcoming and helpful and the house was the perfect place for a group of girls for a hen weekend.
We wanted somewhere we could lounge about, relax and drink prosecco and this was the perfect spot.
