HenDafarn is a perfect balance of charming ambiance and total convenience. Our family group ranged in age from 7 years old to 70 plus years old. We were all very comfortable in this warm and welcoming cottage. The close proximity to the shops restaurants and attractions of Conwy allowed us all to spend time together and to explore in smaller groups. The most difficult part of our vacation was deciding which of the many nearby attractions to visit. We particularly enjoyed our day at the South Stack lighthouse.
Parking is usually available on the street but the narrow streets can be a little intimidating for large vehicles. There is convenient, long term parking a couple of minutes walk away but you will get a ticket if you do not feed the meter promptly at 8am.
I would love to stay at HenDafarn again in the future.
We stayed here for four weeks in May/June, the weather was great, but rain or shine this is pretty well a perfect cottage. It combines the character of a fifteenth century cottage, old beams, thick walls with a well thought out contemporary kitchen. Add in a window wall that opens up fully to a great south facing courtyard garden and you are all set.
Conwy is a great little town with enough pubs and restaurants within walking distance.
Parking in the street is by chance, but we never failed to find a spot.
The owner is good to deal with and is quick to respond, as is the local contact, Mandy.
We hope to return, perfect for our family reunion.
Me, my husband and mum stayed here for the Conwy Feast weekend and found the property perfect.
Although we didn't do much in the way of cooking, the kitchen was well equipped.
The property was clean, spacious and suited our needs.
Parking outside the property wasn't an issue for us. We got a space upon arrival and didn't move the car for the whole weekend. However if you use the property as a base and go out on day trips, you may return and find nowhere to park.
We would stay here again and would recommend this property to others.
We stayed for a week in this beautiful quaint cottage. Inside the cottage it was very spacious and everything was plentiful. The owners had gone to great lengths to ensure a relaxing holiday cottage with many homely extras. The cottage is in an ideal location close to all local amenities and it has easy access to the A55. We were able to park outside the holiday home all week. The owners were only an e-mail away and we found them to be very friendly and helpful. Moya the caretaker was very helpful and only a phone call away. The excellent wifi was greatly appreciated by the teenagers!! We would highly recommend this holiday cottage and we hope to return again soon.

We went as a family with our 2 young daughters (aged 1 and 4) and the in-laws. Perfect location, ideal cottage. Really enjoyed being in the town! The owners were very helpful and we will definitely be back!
