Just had a perfect evening at this delightful country set pub. Three course meal with great choice. Served to a high standard by friendly welcoming staff. Prices are good for such excellent quality food. Portion sizes are genourous.
Drinks served cold and their house wine list is great value again for high quality.
We highly recommend this little gem of pub that is set in fabulous countryside. Friendly staff excellent food to be swilled down by real ales house wines and of course pink gins. Thanks for a fabulous evening...will be back. Mr. & Mrs.Anderson

Fresh vegetables, tasty fabulous quality meat, home cooked Yorkshire’s and the best roast potatoes I’ve tasted. Great value with kids under 10 eating free.
This is a friendly low key pub with friendly staff, can thoroughly recommend and will return soon.

Called in one Friday lunchtime & had a lovely lunch. Lots of choice & the food was superb. We only wish we had visited sooner as the landlord & landlady are moving to the Chain bridge pub just outside Usk in July, so we definitely be trying that soon. Thank you for a lovely meal & great service.

You only have average or very good on Tripadvisor - so you can't say good which is a bit of a shame!

We went for dinner with family - the restaurant is lacking a bit of character, although it is pleasant enough........service was extremely charming, but a bit slow/forgetful.

The food was all very nice except for the quorn fillets with Iman Biyaldi - which really did look like the quorn fillets had just been 'plonked' on top - no real thought about how to try and make it look more attractive - lets just say I could have done a better job!
