Had scallops and carpaccio for starters, followed by risotto and stone bass. Food was really well cooked & the flavours were unusual but went really well together. Beer was very tasty and well served. Service was friendly and perfectly paced. However I can't go to 5 stars as as good as it was it did feel overpriced. (£60 ish )

Arranged afternoon tea for a group of 12 adults and 12 babies and could not have received better facilities. Staff were accommodating and friendly. The food was very tasty and suitable for the babies (all weaning) too. Plenty to fill us up and a reasonable price for the privilege.

Dropped in for a pint one evening last week [ good real ales] was impressed by the menu and asked if we could eat, 'Sorry we are fully booked, but we'll squeeze you in'
Had one of the best restaurant meals I've had in a long time, Lovely staff and friendly locals. Well worth a visit.

This restaurant is a lovely room with a nice atmosphere and history.even though it must be an extension to the original building which was a 16th century coaching inn it certainly flows. The food is excellent as is the service. Well worth a visit
