I travelled with my best friend for a relaxing week in Wales. The chalet is set in a beautiful, friendly and well kept park. Because of the time of year that we visited the pool was closed, the bar was open at weekends but these were not problems for us. There are friendly staff in the reception and the onsite shop. The reception area has Wi-Fi. We didn't use the café, laundrette or the beauty salon but they are close to the chalet.
The site is a short drive away from Caernarfon, we had a car, there is a bus service at the park entrance. The town is lovely with friendly people, the wonderful castle, great food, homemade ice-cream and some nice shops and a couple of Supermarkets. Although not much to do in the evenings there is a cinema and a theatre nearby.
Communication with the manager was friendly and all relevant information was sent promptly. The chalet was clean and tidy with all of the necessary utilities. Electricity had to be bought for the chalet as an extra to the rental price, this was not a problem but for some this would have to be factored into their budget when deciding on a property and so maybe this should be added into the property description. It was also quite chilly at night (to be expected at this time of year although it was beautifully sunny every day), heaters are provided but didn't make much of a difference.
Overall, the place is lovely and well presented. We are best friends who wanted a quiet and relaxing week in a beautiful part of Wales and that is what we got. I would definitely rent this property again and recommend to friends.
