“Fantastic stay again highly reccommended”

We have stayed at Beudy Bach now twice and could not fault it. Lovely scenery, plenty of walks, and the owners were fantastic. The cottage was spotless, very cosy and the owners have kept the traditional old cottage look. The outside patio had amazing views and with a glass of wine with beautiful sunsets you couldn't ask for more. There is the owners garden where guest children can play on the equipment. There are beautiful views to be found behind the cottage up a steep hill, if you fancy exploring. Close to the main town where the wonderful castle can be found. Crab fishing on the harbour wall if you fancy taking the kids. Also the owner has a friendly horse, and free range chickens and eggs to be found. We could have asked for a more relaxing break from the rat race. Thanks again for the rental of you lovely place i will recommend to everyone.....

“Exceptional”
Reviewed 26 June 2014 for a stay in June 2014

My daughter and family stayed here for nearly 3 weeks and agreed it was the best cottage ever - from the lovely warm reception of its owners to the excellent quality of the property and unbelievable views - stunning. They will definitely book it again when they visit from Australia - if it is available that is! Diolch Bethan, Arwel and family.

“Fantastic cottage in a wonderful location”
Reviewed 22 April 2014 for a stay in April 2014

We stayed at Beudy Bach during the Easter holidays and it was everything we were hoping for and more based on the previous reviews. The owners could not have been helpful from the intial booking process and throughout the holiday. The barn conversion was completed to a high standard and the the layout was ideal for our family of 5 with two double bedrooms and 1 twin room. The farmhouse kitchen and lounge with a log burner make the property ideal to stay in at any time of the year. The cottage was extremely clean and there was also a lovely welcome basket for us when we arrived and a bottle of wine in the fridge! The children loved the animals and the regular supply of fresh eggs were delicious! The sea views from the cottage are amazing and there is a hill at the rear of the property that is ideal for a walk in the evening that provides an even better vantage point of the surounding countryside. All the attractions of Snowdonia and the Lynn Peninsula are within a 30 min drive through scenic countryside. We have already provisonally booked for next year and cannot wait to go back to Beudy Bach. Highly recommended.

“Fantastic location, amazing views and a very homely feel.”
Reviewed 22 April 2014 for a stay in April 2014

What a fantastic place, lovely decor.
A massive effort made, fresh flowers on arrival and chocolate treats on the table.
Place felt very safe and homely.
Very cosy with the log burner going at night.
Everything there that was needed from bin bags to washing up liquid.
Very close to town by car, but amazing exclusive location.
Fresh eggs available daily.
Would definitely recommend this cottage and the family that run it couldn't be more welcoming.
Thank you for a fantastic holiday

“Stunning views, very warm welcome, family friendly, tasteful accommodation”
Reviewed 11 August 2013 for a stay in August 2013

Beudy Bach apparently means "small barn", as it is a barn conversion on a farm next to the owner's farmhouse. This means there is a horse, chickens (you can collect eggs), and plenty of space for the kids to run around in, including the use of play equipment belonging to the owners' children (swings, slide, trampoline, wendy house, sit in cars etc). Heaven for the kids. There is a hill behind the house covered in pretty heather and gorse, which is a fairly easy climb if you walk a few minutes up the road to the main path. There are beautiful sea views from the property, which you can enjoy from your own patio, complete with picnic table (enclosed, so safe for the children), and there is a BBQ. The house is very well furnished, sympathetically converted, with plenty of homely and pretty finishing touches, and everything you need to make you comfortable away from home, including TV with DVD player, a CD radio player, wifi, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, and baby equipment such as a cot, highchair, toys and baby plates and cutlery etc. There is a log burner in the front room, and a lovely farmhouse kitchen. There is a family bathroom downstairs (with a shower, but no bath), and a toilet upstairs. There are two bedrooms upstairs (one leading off the other, and the first directly opening onto the stairs - no wall) and one downstairs. The host family are extremely warm and welcoming, and a pleasure to be around. The man of the house, who used to be a mechanic, even helped us with our car when it broke down! It's very peaceful - you can't hear traffic, only sheep and the occasional cockerel - but near enough to Caernarvon, Anglesey, Bangor and the Snowdonia National Park to make it easy to visit the surrounding area. I would thoroughly recommend it, and hope to go back.
