“Stunning views, very warm welcome, family friendly, tasteful accommodation”
Reviewed 11 August 2013 for a stay in August 2013

Beudy Bach apparently means "small barn", as it is a barn conversion on a farm next to the owner's farmhouse. This means there is a horse, chickens (you can collect eggs), and plenty of space for the kids to run around in, including the use of play equipment belonging to the owners' children (swings, slide, trampoline, wendy house, sit in cars etc). Heaven for the kids. There is a hill behind the house covered in pretty heather and gorse, which is a fairly easy climb if you walk a few minutes up the road to the main path. There are beautiful sea views from the property, which you can enjoy from your own patio, complete with picnic table (enclosed, so safe for the children), and there is a BBQ. The house is very well furnished, sympathetically converted, with plenty of homely and pretty finishing touches, and everything you need to make you comfortable away from home, including TV with DVD player, a CD radio player, wifi, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, and baby equipment such as a cot, highchair, toys and baby plates and cutlery etc. There is a log burner in the front room, and a lovely farmhouse kitchen. There is a family bathroom downstairs (with a shower, but no bath), and a toilet upstairs. There are two bedrooms upstairs (one leading off the other, and the first directly opening onto the stairs - no wall) and one downstairs. The host family are extremely warm and welcoming, and a pleasure to be around. The man of the house, who used to be a mechanic, even helped us with our car when it broke down! It's very peaceful - you can't hear traffic, only sheep and the occasional cockerel - but near enough to Caernarvon, Anglesey, Bangor and the Snowdonia National Park to make it easy to visit the surrounding area. I would thoroughly recommend it, and hope to go back.

“"A LOVELY COTTAGE"”
Reviewed 23 June 2013 for a stay in June 2013

We stayed at Beudy bach in June 13 weather was great. The cottage was lovely better than the photo's on the website the cottage is really homely with everything you would need to have a perfect stay. clean and tidy. Welcome pak great.
Views are fantastic lovely to sit out day or evening watch the sun go down, so peaceful, just the sound of the hens from which we had fresh eggs each day. The cottage is well situated for walks nice one just behind cottage, or relaxing. Dinas dingle beach only 5/10 minutes away by car well worth a visit.
North Wales has stunning scenery, staying at the cottage made the holiday complete. If you want to stay in a location with outstanding views and peaceful environment, you will love Beudy bach (we did).
Bethan and her family were welcoming and there if you need advice.

“A wonderful stay at Beudy Bach”
Reviewed 3 June 2013 for a stay in May 2013

Beudy Bach has stunning views of the Welsh countryside and coastline. We were greeted by Bethan and her family and made to feel very welcome. The cottage had all the amenities we needed for our week long walking holiday and the provisions provided by Bethan were a nice touch. The cottage made a good base for all the exploring we embarked on in the North Wales area. After our long days walking the cottage felt very homely to return too. Arwel told us about the panoramic view from the hill behind the cottage and on the clear evening we experienced it it was everything he described. A car is essential. Bethan and Arwel were there to help when required but were never intrusive. The sight of the children running down to meet their dad returning from work was delightful.

“Fantastic!”
Reviewed 2 February 2013 for a stay in January 2013

Fantastic! Thoroughly recommend this accomodation and its location. We stayed here as a couple with our one year old for two weeks in the deep of winter. The owners have made the place into a wee home (much better than the photos we saw on the website). It's well located for getting about Gwynedd, as well a hill to climb behind for a panoramic view. If what you want a quiet place surrounded by a view of mountainous peninsula, Snowdonia, and the sea, and some Welsh neighbours (the owners' family) to add to the warmth of a Welsh welcome, then this is for you.

“Perfect location; super accomodation”
Reviewed 5 January 2013 for a stay in December 2012

Beudy Bach does actually live up to all the rave reviews. The cottage is cosy but spacious and ideal accomodation for just the two of us or up to six. The facilities are new and in excellent condition- including internet access for those of you that just can't tear yourself away. The property was immaculate on our arrival and our hosts got the balance perfect in terms of contact and assistance. The best bit about Beudy Bach however is the loaction. Five minutes from some reasonable canoeing, ten minutes from the sea and huge shingle beaches, twenty minutes to the foot of Snowdon and half an hour from the Lleyn Penninsula its easy to get the most out of the wonderful surroundings (even if it rains every day of your stay...)
