We stayed back in January but only just got round to leaving a review - The room was superbly luxurious and comfortable and the breakfast was amazing but the best thing about it was Jan. She was so welcoming and helpful and we were blown away by how above and beyond she went for everyone - reading all the other reviews it seems as if she is the queen of hospitality! loved the homely touches everywhere (spare toothbrushes, slippers, snacks in the living room, a copy of Fawlty Towers in the room?) we really hope to come back!

I’m not usually a reviewer but this place was too good not to! Set in the walled town, you couldn’t ask for a better view from the joint balcony/ Castle wall. Brilliant breakfast served by Jan and Lisa, and such lovely company. Thanks again Jan, we will be recommending and will be back for a G&T on the balcony!

This was our second time staying at the Victoria House B&B. Our first time was 3 years ago and the time we spent there was so memorable, we had to go back.
Jan, the “ban an ti”, is exceptional in her hospitality. From the moment you arrive, to the moment you leave, she is looking after you, and her team are all so friendly! (Thank for the ice cream recommendation at Beaumaris!)
The room we stayed in was a superior king, and is pure luxury. Super king bed, jet bath, complimentary bottle of prosecco, some local fudge with the complimentary tea & coffees, plus a mini fridge with fresh milk and bottles of water.
The selection at breakfast goes from cooked options including a fry (including vegetarian options), porridge, boiled eggs, smoked salmon w/ egg of choice and Welsh rarebit. Cold options extended from cereals (including gluten free options), fruit & berries, yoghurts, nuts, seeds, cereal bars, flapjacks, muffins, selection of snowdonia cheeses, spreads like Nutella, Vegemite, peanut butters, jams, marmalade’s... something for everyone!
This visit was just as amazing, if not better than the last. Jan, you are amazing!!! Thank you for such a memorable 5th anniversary!

This was our 3rd visit to Victoria house and can’t recommend it enough. Jan the owner is very welcoming from the minute you arrive with a welcoming drink. Lovely breakfast with plenty of choice. It’s location is spot on with the town and local pubs 200m away. Parking no problem either outside or free at the harbour, with a permit. Plenty to do nearby or just relax. Book up you won’t be disappointed.

Room Tip: We had the balcony suite with separate living room and patio door out to a decked area,up Some steps and a view out to sea.

The house had a very homely feeling and was nice and warm at all times our hostess was great we never wanted for anything and she was so attentive but also very discrete
You had a mountain of food to choose for breakfast and it catered for all your needs we often use b&b and this’s is one of the best we have had the pleasure of coming across we will be back

Room Tip: Ask for a sea view you won’t be disappointed

Hi Mark,

Thanks so much for taking the time to review your stay with us. So glad we met your guest expectations, especially as I know you have many years experience of working in the hospitality industry yourself. It was a pleasure looking after you & Angela and we look forward
to seeing you both again later this year.

With all best wishes,

Jan,
